Our Charitable History
2023
In a remarkable display of community spirit, The Raines Group celebrated their 200th home sale in 2023 by once again donating the profits to five local organizations. Sunrise Sanctuary, Inc. received $5,000, the Callahan Murphy Hare Foundation was granted $4,000, the Magical Moments Foundation was honored with $3,000, Dreams on Horseback received $2,000, and the Challenged Athletes Foundation was given $1,000. These organizations exemplify the spirit of giving, and The Raines Group salutes their incredible work in our community.
2023
The Raines Group continued its tradition of community engagement in 2023 by actively participating in the Independence Day New Albany 5K. This event not only demonstrated their commitment to a healthy and active lifestyle but also reinforced their strong presence in the local community, solidifying their reputation as a real estate agency deeply rooted in the well-being and spirit of the neighborhoods they serve.
2022
In 2022, The Raines Group exemplified their strong sense of community involvement by actively volunteering at Lifetown. Their dedication to making a positive impact beyond the real estate industry further elevated their reputation, showcasing their commitment to both business success and meaningful social contributions. This collaborative effort not only benefited Lifetown but also highlighted The Raines Group's ethos of giving back and fostering positive change in their community.
2022
The Raines Group demonstrated their commitment to community support by proudly sponsoring the Lifetown Legends Luncheon in 2022. This strategic partnership not only showcased their local influence but also emphasized their dedication to philanthropy, solidifying their reputation as a socially responsible and successful business in the real estate sector.
2021
The Raines Group stayed busy this year by fundraising and donating to even more charities. Our team proudly supported Star House, the only drop-in service agency for youth ages 14 to 24 who are experiencing homelessness. In addition to hosting a supply drive, we had their outreach director speak to our team about the group's mission. During the second and third quarter of 2021, we partnered with Chapter 9 of Blue Star Mothers to collect travel-sized toiletry items throughout our CAP Apple Pie Event. And in September, we sponsored the Orthopedic Polo Cup to raise arthritis awareness.
2020
Even during COVID-19, The Raines Group banded together to support even more local initiatives. Our agents volunteered at Lifetown's stations so children could learn about life skills in a realistic environment. We also made donations to On Our Sleeves and ran a fundraiser for mental health awareness in our community. During the winter, The Raines Group offered support for the 8th annual HER USO Toy Drive.
2019
The Raines Group stayed busy in 2019 with four main contributions. We started the year off by supporting Lifetown, a community that allows children to master advanced life skills outside of the classroom. During the second quarter of 2019, we raised funds for Girls on the Run and celebrated our 200th home sale by donating to charities chosen by our clients. Finally, we held a diaper drive for the Diaper Bank of Columbus, where we presented the organization with over 4,000 diapers and spent the afternoon helping to separate, size, and pack for community members in need.
